Review: The Way Back to You

The Way Back to You The Way Back to You by Sharon Sala
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

His parents couldn't have mentioned it at least once?

Marilyn is nice.

He really is travelling the country.

Well that's a helluva welcome.

Small world!

Attagirl, Barb.

Poor Billy.

How are you all walking with that many diamonds weighing you down?

Ha! We finally find out how Peanut got his name!

Ooh, who's the hiker?

Elliott has unsuspected depths, to quote Jimmy Stewart.

Everybody's so cool about this up in the hills.

Good speech.

Yay!

Okay, I hate his adoptive parents.

I want to see this cake.

Mmm, dolmas.

Fate is fate.

Haha, poor Chet.

I feel a little bad for Hoover.

Lovey and Marc will get back together.

Review: Risk It All

Risk It All Risk It All by Katie Ruggle
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First she enters a potential murderer's room, now she's concerned for his health?

At least she has some instincts.

Oh yeah, he's real murder-y.

She's got creepy Stuart at school and random cars trying to kill her. Great.

How does he know Stuart's last name?

Norah sounds resigned.

What is her kidnapper waiting for?

Honey, do you have any defensive driving skills? No.

She's a good sister.

These are really great action sequences.

Clever!

I don't get people who don't wear watches.

Life was my game.

He is so an undercover agent.

Ha, double negative!

At least this police force is not corrupt like the Langston one.

Haha!

I love research.

She really saved the day.

I loved this book. It needs to be a movie,

Review: The Family Journal

The Family Journal The Family Journal by Carolyn Brown
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I feel sorry for parents in these situations. The threat of going to live with the other parent is always there.

Victoria sounds like a twat.

If it was my mother, she would have slapped me.

I so would not like Adam.

Whoa, Sally has some serious kid juju.

It's not the love of your life if your twin brother can steal her away.

I like the Civil War storyline.

How old do you think your mother is, Braden? Outhouses?

Holly sure gets polite when she wants something.

Attaboy, Braden.

Aw, Isaac is a cutie.

Is ignorance bliss?

The Torres parents did good. Rose and Ivy's, not so much.

Such a twat. Wyatt and Adam should form a club.

Well, her life would have been better, but without Wyatt, there is no Holly and Braden.

Son-of-a! I hope she has her toe-bending hands warmed up for round two.

I know, honey. But calm down before we both have a heart attack.

"Reclaim your balls," ha!

Okay, I like the principal.

Poor Sally, this is a lot of responsibility.

I love the music that Ms. Brown introduces me to with every book.

Tinkle Eyebrow Razor Review

I heard about dermaplaning recently from a Youtube video. Of course, they were at a dermaplaning studio in the city having $200 treatments. Yeah, no. I came across this tool, but was skeptical of the price. I have had cheap razors fall apart on me. Plucking just doesn't get all the hairs. I finally bit the bullet, and got this set of 2 packs from Amazon. I look like a new woman! It is so easy on your upper lip and chin. I haven't used it on my eyebrows, though. It scrapes away all the dead skin cells. The directions say to use shaving cream, but I just do it dry, on a clean face. My mom was so impressed, she commandeered one from my stash!.

Review: The Highlander's Christmas Bride

The Highlander's Christmas Bride The Highlander's Christmas Bride by Vanessa Kelly
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Just call her Maria.

Who wants to marry their cousin?

Ah, sexual tension disguised as loathing.

The Great Silence sounds nice in theory.

So much intrigue.

Who the heck is Mungo?

Jeez, good thing she was awake!

I guess chamber pots were useful, but ew.

Oh, his wife was Native?

All that fuss for nothing. There is no way he is going to get turned on by that foot.

From being a nun to sharing a bed with a man, all in less than a week.

You stink, Papa.

Ouch. I can see why that would be a kick in the pants for Nick.

He's six, Angus.

So, basically, Mungo was butt-hurt, and that caused a feud? Men.

I can't imagine not celebrating Christmas.

Pouring it on a bit thick, Eden.

We have Duck, Duck, Goose and Tag. Same thing.

Take that, witch.

Er, what's so bad about the widow?

Alec and Edie are a fun couple.

She doesn't play. I love it.

This is the best dinner party ever.

Like she put his thing in her. Oh, boy, what a daddy's boy.

What a brave boy.

Plot twist.

Oy, Roddy gives me a headache.

A very nice ending.

Review: All Fired Up

All Fired Up All Fired Up by Lori Foster
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is kind of stalkerish.

Prison?

Haha, Ros sounds like she's bipolar right now!

Poor man was just trying to be a good son.

You rock, Brodie.

He's practically a triplet.

Glad to know they're still picking up creepy things for their clients.

Poor doggie.

Yeah, you're a real prince, Newman.

Holy plot twist.

Bernie is such an idiot.

I hope Grant actually has a chance.

I'm proud of him, too.

Good boy, Brute!

Drop dead, Newman.

Haha, poor Ros has gotten herself into a pickle!

She really wants to marry him!
